Flower Camping des Pins is located at the heart of a forest rich in pine trees. It's a real oasis of rest and calm. With the Atlantic coast and its fantastic beaches just 1500 metres away, nature is ever-present. The campsite is terraced and gently sloping, and its forest location ensures that there is always plenty of shade. For sun worshippers, there are still plenty of spots that are unshaded.
The campsite is a paradise for families, with a variety of activities for campers of all ages. There is a sports field, which includes a volleyball court and beach volleyball court, plus the campsite offers jeu de boules and a play area, so your children can have as much fun as they want.
The campsite also boasts a heated outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and toddlers' pool, plus sunloungers so you can soak up the sun at the water's edge. For more active campers, aqua-aerobics classes are arranged in the pool. After an eventful day on the campsite, you'll no doubt fancy a bite to eat, so why not head to the snackbar, pizzeria or petit restaurant. There is also a bar, take-away service and minimarket. Fresh bread is available throughout the summer months.
The whole family is catered for with activities throughout the high season, including themed buffet evenings twice a week, with grilled specialities, couscous and paella, plus local fish dishes. For the children there is a kids' club with entertainment such as face-painting, archery and table tennis.
The local area is also rich in sporting opportunity, including surfing and paragliding on the beach, and tennis (2 km), horse riding (500 m) and golf (7 km) nearby. The ZouZou Parc, an amusement park, is great for children who want to use up their energy climbing and clambering.
Flower Camping des Pins is located in Soulac-sur-Mer, an intimate tourist resort perfect for souvenir-hunting and enjoying the lifestyle on the French coast. Bordeaux, famed for its wines, is just an hour's drive from the campsite. Alternatively, why not explore the Médoc region with its numerous vineyards?
It's ideal for discovering on foot or by bicycle, and there are a variety of footpaths nearby. Bikes can hired from the campsite. Discover the bay of Gironde from the footpaths and cycle routes and visit Pointe du Médoc, or simply explore the unspoilt nature of the Atlantic coast and the fine sandy beaches. The lighthouse of Cordouan, just 1500 metres from the campsite, is highly recommended.
