Castell Montgrí is a campsite at the foot of Mount Rocamaura and enjoys a wonderful view of the Bay of L’Estartit. The campsite is embosomed by the local unspoilt countryside and has an area of more than 23,000 sq. m. You can enjoy all that the outstanding leisure pool has to offer and take part in plenty of entertainments and activities on site. The visually attractive leisure pool complex has three pools suitable for all ages: ‘La Basse’ pool has perfumed water, ‘Panorama’ pool is a whopping 1,800 sq. m, and ‘L’Ombra’ has some exciting slides.
But there’s more to this campsite on Spain’s Costa Brava (not far from the French border) than the swimming pools. The on-site entertainment team provides a varied daily diet of sporting and creative activities for all ages, including treasure hunts, design your own T-shirt, painting, football and volleyball competitions, and pottery classes. The sultry evenings see an open-air disco held on the panoramic terrace as a precursor to the shows (which are varied). With all this activity, you’re never going to be bored at Castell Montgrí from the time you get up to the time you call it a day, however late that is! There’s a takeaway service on site with a menu of fifteen dishes, as well as a pancake café and a restaurant/pizzeria. If you don’t have enough cash about you, you can withdraw funds from any one of three cash machines (ATMs) on site. Other facilities include a souvenir shop, bookshop, TV room, games hall, supermarket, carwash and far more besides. Whether you’re here with the family or with friends, then, you’ll find everyone’s tastes are provided for! As you’re in Spain, make sure you make the most of the cultural opportunities: the rich local heritage includes monuments, museums and castles of major historic significance, and picturesque spots such as the old fishing port of L’Estartit. Whatever the season, there’s always a party going on somewhere on the Costa Brava!
